Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at BC Liquor Stores. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate a cash register, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and disposing of trash.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including creating attractive displays and maintaining store appearance.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Be at least 19 years of age.
  • Be able to legally work in Canada.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Be able to lift 20-25 kg boxes and stand for long periods.
  • Have a valid Serving It Right Certificate.
