About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at 12912503 Canada Ltd. as a key member of our accounting department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Accounting and Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including statistical and accounting reports.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, as well as maintain accurate records of tax-related documents.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and QuickBooks.
  • Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Our office is located in a convenient location with public transportation available.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
