About the Role

Sedgwick is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adjuster General Executive to join our team. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for investigating complex claims internationally, ensuring timely and fair resolutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations of claims, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses to determine liability and extent of company's responsibility.
  • Estimate costs of repair, replacement, or compensation, and prepare reports of findings to negotiate settlements with claimants.
  • Collaborate with legal department to recommend litigation when necessary, and attend hearings to represent the company's interests.
  • Revises case reserves to cover probable costs, and prepares loss experience reports to inform future rate calculations.
  • Supports the organization's quality program, and travels as required to conduct investigations and attend meetings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with a focus on a relevant field such as insurance, risk management, or business.
  • Must have earned the IIA-AIC designation and be actively pursuing another professional insurance designation.
  • Appropriate adjuster license is required, with a minimum of five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment, with strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
