Claims Investigator

At Sedgwick, we're committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients and colleagues. As a Claims Investigator, you'll play a critical role in investigating claims of any size or complexity, ensuring that our clients receive fair and timely resolutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations of claims, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses as needed.
- Examine claim forms and other records to determine insurance coverage and liability.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants, ensuring that our clients' interests are protected.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance our claims handling process.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our claims handling capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
