Job Description: The Chief Dispatcher plays a critical role in ensuring the on-time performance of trains and meeting CN's service commitments. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day train operations, overseeing the dispatching of trains, and providing direction to Rail Traffic Control Dispatchers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a sense of urgency to respond to issues as they arise.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain teamwork and order amongst staff, contractors, and internal clients.
  • Use operational data to identify opportunities to improve asset utilization and service reliability.
  • Manage crew utilization, track deadheads, recrews, and labor cost.
  • Determine best opportunities to move trains against multiple demands.

Requirements: Industrial work experience, minimum 4 years of supervisory experience of unionized employees, and a High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business or Logistics.
