About the Role

PepsiCo Foods Canada is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Lead to join our team in Kentville, NS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily work direction to frontline associates, ensuring seamless execution of production processes.
  • Utilize technical systems for reporting and analytics to drive business decisions.
  • Lead daily performance meetings to discuss progress, goals, and challenges.
  • Conduct performance coaching, provide individual feedback, and issue corrective action to ensure team members meet expectations.
  • Make daily decisions impacting the business, leveraging expertise and judgment to drive results.
  • Handle all team performance and personnel issues, maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage time and payroll systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent background preferred, with a strong foundation in business, operations, or a related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or operations, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in coaching and monitoring performance of others, with a focus on developing and empowering team members.
  • Able to instruct and teach others, with a passion for knowledge sharing and development.
  • Strong skills in organizing, planning, and prioritizing work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on finding creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Knowledge of general regulatory and safety processes and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Mechanical and technical aptitude, with a strong understanding of production processes and equipment.
