Job Title: Benefits Associate

At Selectpath Benefits & Financial Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated Benefits Associate to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction with every effort to exceed expectations.
  • Plan, organize, and facilitate the preparation and completion of client renewals, coordinating with key stakeholders to manage timelines and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to client inquiries, explain benefits options, and facilitate the resolution of any issues.
  • Assist in negotiating pricing with benefit carriers, securing the most favorable terms for clients.
  • Help Advisors prepare for finalist meetings and facilitate the production of benefit plan options and proposals for prospective clients.
  • Manage large client files with attention to detail, ensuring accurate recording, secure storage, and easy accessibility for reference.
  • Provide accurate and thorough answers to client requests, demonstrating a deep understanding of benefit plans and clear communication.
  • Communicate with carriers through client issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Deliver a seamless client experience from start to finish, coordinating various aspects of the client relationship and providing consistent, high-quality service.
  • Assist in training Benefits Administrators, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team proficiency and performance.

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of benefits experience required.
  • Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation or willingness to obtain.
  • Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to take initiative and a proactive approach to work.
  • Advanced knowledge and application of MS suite of products.
  • Enthusiastic, respectful, high professional, and uncompromised confidentiality.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Bilingualism considered an asset.
