The Dairy Queen is seeking a seasoned Food Service Supervisor to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of $43,000 per year.

Job Overview

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that all aspects of food preparation, service, and quality control meet the highest standards. You will also supervise a team of 5-10 staff members and train them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish effective work schedules and manage team performance to meet sales targets and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Train staff in job duties, including food preparation, serving, and cash handling, as well as sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff, ensuring seamless execution of orders and efficient service delivery.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and have at least 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role, as you will interact with customers, staff, and management on a regular basis.
  • A combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling is required, making physical stamina and flexibility essential for this position.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary for occasional travel to company events or meetings.
