Mott MacDonald is seeking a highly skilled Senior Utility Coordinator to join our team in North America. As a key member of our Utilities team, you will be responsible for coordinating with utility owners to secure and review existing utility information, and evaluating conflicts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with utility owners to enter into contract agreements for the works and develop relocation plans and schedules
  • Manage team members to produce calculations, engineering design plans, technical reports, and specifications
  • Review utility designs prepared by project team designers and/or utility authorities for compliance with design criteria
  • Engage in verbal and written communications with clients, contractors, and sub-contractors
  • Prepare cost estimates and manage budget and schedule for utility work packages

Requirements:

  • 15+ years progressive experience in utility design/management
  • Experience on transit projects preferred
  • Ability to conduct work independently and provide guidance to junior staff
  • Proactive self-starter with flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with business partners, suppliers, contractors, and clients
