Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Work under pressure
  • Tight deadlines
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling

Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession, Restaurant

Personal Suitability: Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Team player
