Security Officer

At Paladin Security, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
- Write detailed reports of incidents and security activities.
- Investigate routine incidents and take appropriate action to prevent future occurrences.
- De-escalate situations involving conflict, violence, or other security threats.
- Ensure that all areas of the property are secure and accessible to authorized personnel.
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to alarms as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- 1 year of experience in security, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Priority will be given to candidates with experience working in healthcare and mental health.
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB). Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program.
