Security Officer

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team at Algonquin College. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors on campus.
Key Responsibilities:- Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect security breaches
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, including fires, medical emergencies, and security threats
- Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support incident reports
- Provide excellent customer service and support to students, staff, and visitors
- Collaborate with emergency responders and other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Minimum 1 year of experience in security or a related field
- Police Foundations Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Security Guard License in Ontario
- First Aid/CPR Level C with AED certification
- Management of Aggressive Behaviour and Use of Force Certification
