Job Title: System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team at I.Ty Inc. as a permanent employee.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and installing computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software. They will also provide problem-solving services to network users, implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • Confer with clients to identify requirements
  • Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware
  • Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches
  • Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They will be required to work under pressure and have excellent time management skills.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The working hours are 32 to 35 hours per week.
