The Position

Under the supervision of the Manager, Information Technology, the Airport Systems Coordinator will provide administrative support for day-to-day operations and special projects. Key responsibilities include implementing key applications, network, and supporting stakeholders with technical-related issues, such as site-wide LAN, vLAN, WLAN, and WAN applications, virtual servers, database servers, disaster recovery, and web servers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee specialized airport computer systems, including Multi-User Flight & Baggage Information Display (MUFIDS/BIDS), Computer Aided Dispatch, Building Automation, Master Clock, and Common Use Terminal Equipment (CUTE).
  • Manage audio-visual systems, storage Area Network space connected to iSCSI controller.
  • Maintain network operations and software applications (i.e., Office 365, application servers, file, print application, WEB, database, proxy, etc.) to ensure efficient operations.
  • Provide first-level help desk services to internal and external stakeholders on software and hardware issues.
  • Monitor systems to respond to emergencies and pre-empt problems.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and/or software applications within FMAA's local and wide area networks, telephones, and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.
  • Manage and support specialized systems, including Flight Information Display System (FIDS), HP CORE Switches 5510/5520, Cisco Meraki, Ccure Access Control System, Panasonic Video Management System (VMS), and the Public Addressing system.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in performing associated roles with little supervision.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean Driver's Abstract.
  • 3+ years of experience in the aviation, airline, and/or transportation industry.
  • 2+ years of experience with FIDS, HP CORE Switches 5510/5520, Cisco Meraki.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Transportation Security Clearance (RAIC).
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong team player with great interpersonal skills.
