The Position

Under the supervision of the Manager, Information Technology, the Systems Coordinator, Information Technology, will provide administrative support for day-to-day operations and special projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and maintaining airport computer systems, including MUFIDS/BIDS, Computer Aided Dispatch, Building Automation, Master Clock, and CUTE
  • Managing audio-visual systems, storage Area Network space connected to iSCSI controller
  • Maintaining network operations and software applications to ensure efficient airport operations
  • Providing first-level help desk services to internal and external stakeholders on software and hardware issues
  • Monitoring systems to respond to emergencies and prevent problems
  • Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and/or software applications within FMAA's local and wide area networks, telephones, and security systems

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a related role with minimal supervision
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean Driver's Abstract
  • 3+ years of experience in the aviation, airline, and/or transportation industry
  • 2+ years of experience with FIDS, HP CORE Switches 5510/5520, Cisco Meraki
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Transportation Security Clearance
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
