Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facility Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of facility systems. Your expertise will ensure the safety and efficiency of the assigned facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and maintenance of HVAC systems
  • Troubleshooting and repair of facility equipment
  • Implementation of preventative maintenance programs
  • Monitoring of facility conditions and reporting
  • Client relations and project support
  • Administrative tasks and record-keeping

Requirements

  • College Diploma or Certification in a relevant field
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes
  • Environmental, health, and safety mindset
  • Client-oriented with effective communication skills
  • Ability to mentor and support colleagues
  • Willingness to work shifts, on-call, and wear Personal Protective Equipment
  • Valid driver's license

Licenses and Accreditation

  • HVAC Apprentice level 3 or 4
  • Gasfitter I & II, refrigeration license preferred
  • Building Environment Systems (BES) Operation Class 1
  • Facilities Technician Certification
  • Systems Maintenance Technician (SMT)
