Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Leader to join their team as Vice President of Finance and Operations. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a financially sound organization as they transition through the next level of corporate development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage a domestic team of accounting staff
  • Oversee the accounting/finance aspects of foreign manufacturing operations
  • Encompass all aspects of finance: managing foreign exchange, working with multiple banks and currencies, providing oversight of all financial reporting and preparation of consolidated statements, oversight of annual audits for all companies and subsidiaries, selecting and reviewing accounting policy and procedures
  • Provide strategic thought to business planning, forecasting, and analysis
  • Oversee the management and development of Information Technology systems and resources

  • An accounting designation and previous experience as a senior financial leader for an organization
  • Experience in manufacturing / distribution / warehousing / or wholesales
  • Ideally, you also have experience providing oversight to overseas operations
  • Someone who is operationally oriented and sees the relationship between accounting/finance and operations
