Job Title: Healthcare Architect

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Architect to join our team at IBI Group. As a key member of our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division, you will work on a variety of healthcare projects in BC, Canada, and the USA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct feasibility studies, development permit applications, building permit applications, and contract documents for tender
  • Meet with clients and represent the firm at various working groups, preparing presentation materials
  • Participate in contract administration, administering the construction contract on behalf of the client, including field reviews, shop drawings, and RFI responses
  • Collaborate with project teams, including job captains and intern architects, as required
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in the architectural field
  • Licensed architect
  • Detailed understanding of project delivery phases and delivery models, such as Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, and Construction Management
  • Knowledge of applicable CSA standards, building codes, and construction details
  • Advanced Revit skills are a benefit
  • Excellent communication skills are a requirement
  • Local experience is desirable
