Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Architect to join our team in Vancouver. As a Healthcare Architect, you will work in a highly qualified team of healthcare architects, medical planners, and interior designers on a variety of healthcare projects in BC, across Canada, and the USA. This role provides an opportunity to work with collaborative teams throughout various project stages, delivering innovative healthcare solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete feasibility studies, development permit applications, building permit applications, and contract documents for tender
  • Meet with clients and represent the firm at various working groups, preparing presentation materials
  • Participate in the contract administration phase of the work and administer the construction contract on behalf of the client, including performing field reviews, reviewing shop drawings, and responding to RFI
  • Work collaboratively as part of a project team consisting of job captains and intern architects, as required based on the type and size of project

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in the architectural field
  • Licensed architect
  • Detailed understanding of all phases of project delivery and delivery models such as Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, and Construction Management
  • Knowledge of applicable CSA standards, building codes, and construction details
  • Advanced Revit skills are a benefit
  • Excellent communication skills are a requirement
  • Local experience is desirable
