Role Overview:
We're seeking a highly experienced Healthcare Solutions Architect to drive the adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud technologies within national health systems, electronic health records (EHRs), and other healthcare ISVs. As a Healthcare Solutions Architect, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement transformative healthcare solutions on AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design and Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of innovative cloud-native solutions tailored to the healthcare sector, focusing on EHR systems, medical imaging, healthcare interoperability standards, clinical analytics, and medical AI/ML solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of healthcare and life sciences domains to architect robust solutions that leverage AWS services, including cloud FHIR and DICOM servers, EHRs, cloud medical databases, and cloud integration engines.
- Data and Compliance: Ensure solutions meet healthcare data schemas and interoperability standards, adhering to security and compliance requirements such as HIPAA, HITRUST, and GxP.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare subject matter experts, data scientists, software engineers, cloud operations teams, account managers, and partner development managers to drive successful project outcomes.
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to Amazon's thought leadership by participating in conferences, publishing research, and presenting at industry events, demonstrating depth and breadth in healthcare and life sciences domains.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with public sector healthcare organizations to understand their needs and deliver customized AWS solutions that drive their digital transformation and enhance patient care.
A Day in the Life:
As a Healthcare Solutions Architect at Amazon, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge healthcare projects, collaborate with a talented team, and contribute to the company's mission to shape the future of healthcare technology.
Minimum Requirements:
- 4+ years' experience in roles such as Technology Architect, Cloud Architect, Technical Lead, Software Developer, Engineering Lead, Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
- Understanding in one or more technology areas, including software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, and data & analytics.
- Ability to create proof of concepts, demos, and/or scripts from scratch or leveraging reusable components.
- Experience architecting, migrating, or transforming customer requirements to the cloud.
- Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
- One or more AWS certifications, e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
- Demonstrated thought leadership through public speaking and/or publications.
