About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Healthcare Architect to join our Client's dynamic team in British Columbia. With a strong focus on designing impactful healthcare environments, this role provides an opportunity to lead the architectural development of hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities that promote patient well-being, operational efficiency, and innovative care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and planning of healthcare projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, consultants, and healthcare providers, to deliver comprehensive design solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee the preparation of architectural documents, drawings, and specifications in alignment with healthcare design standards.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends in healthcare design, sustainability, and building technologies.
  • Ensure adherence to AIBC guidelines and all applicable building codes and regulations.
  • Conduct site visits, review construction progress, and provide technical guidance as needed.
Qualifications
  • Architect with 7+ years of experience in healthcare projects.
  • AIBC Registered
  • Proven expertise in healthcare facility design, including knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects from concept to completion.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
  • A passion for designing environments that enhance the quality of care and support innovative healthcare delivery models.
