Mathematics and Science Educator

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics and Science in our secondary division. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing short-term and long-term curriculum plans.
  • Delivering lessons and differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Evaluating, assessing, and documenting student progress.
  • Managing classroom organization and communication with parents.
  • Applying developmentally appropriate and current teaching methodologies.
  • Integrating instructional technology into the classroom.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor of Education degree.
  • Eligibility for or possession of an Alberta Permanent or Interim Teaching Certificate.
  • Fluency in French is required for this position.
  • Valid first-aid certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme is desirable.
