Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and experienced individual to join our rapidly growing IT team as a Technical Infrastructure Specialist. This dynamic role will enable you to develop, maintain, and secure our global infrastructure.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate strong technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Windows, Linux operating systems, Veeam, Microsoft Exchange, Nutanix, and VMWare.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain system configuration and troubleshooting documentation.
- Review policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to established standards.
- Proactively identify potential bottlenecks and areas for improvement in application performance.
- Provide comprehensive IT support for local and remote sites, with extended availability for business-critical needs.
- Lead vulnerability mitigation efforts and scheduled system patching cycles.
- Analyze and resolve IT tickets, contributing to the team's overall SLA matrix.
- Configure, install, and upgrade hardware and infrastructure systems to ensure smooth operation and meet business objectives.
- Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Participate in outage/incident bridge calls as required.
- Administer infrastructure services, including Microsoft Active Directory, Server Deployment, Citrix, Microsoft Exchange, Office365, Nutanix, VMware, Veeam Backup, SolarWinds, Mobile Iron, Okta, and other duties assigned by the manager.
- Monitor and analyze infrastructure systems and business applications for early notification of potential issues and recommend proactive resolutions.
- Ensure infrastructure systems and applications comply with the highest security and data integrity standards.
- Collaborate with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution.
- Perform system installations and migrations at branch locations.
- Adhere to assigned project timelines and provide regular status updates.
Salary and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) matching program, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in infrastructure support roles.
- Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Windows, and Linux operating systems, Veeam, Microsoft Exchange, Nutanix, and VMWare.
- SSL Certificates and Certificate Authorities knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of ITIL best practices and experience with an ITSM tool.
- Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated and directed, with attention to detail.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Migration from on-premises Exchange to Office 365 experience.
- Experience with SSO, specifically Okta and Azure AD SSO.
- PowerShell scripting knowledge.
- Networking configurations, installation, and maintenance expertise.
- Merger and Acquisition experience.
Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- ITIL, Microsoft, and Cloud certifications are a plus.
