We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic professional educator to join our team as a Teacher Librarian. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instructional support and library services to students and staff in Elementary, Middle, and Secondary Schools.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement instructional programs and services to support student learning and achievement
- Manage and maintain the school library collection, including selection, acquisition, and cataloging of materials
- Provide research assistance and information literacy instruction to students and staff
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate library services into the curriculum
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and vendors to support library services
- Master's degree in Library Science or a related field
- BC Teaching Certificate or equivalent
- Experience working in a school library or educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
