Job Title: Medical Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Care Assistant to join our team at Chartwell Légende résidence pour retraités. As a Medical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meal trays, ensuring residents receive nutritious and delicious meals
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, providing prompt and effective care
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to each resident's needs
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care facility
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as stand for extended periods
