Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our team at CISSS de la Montérégie-Centre. As a Medical Secretary, you will provide administrative support to medical professionals and teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Assist medical professionals and teams with their administrative duties, including preparing and inputting medical records, reports, and analysis requests.
  • Record Management: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical records, reports, and other documents, and maintain confidentiality as required.
  • Communication: Welcome users, schedule appointments, receive and deliver messages to staff and users, and handle mail and correspondence.
  • File Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date file systems, including medical records and reports.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess knowledge of medical terminology and be proficient in typing, with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma in secretarial studies or equivalent.
  • Language: Fluency in French, with a minimum score of 60% on the placement test.
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate levels in Microsoft Word (60%) and Excel (60%).
  • Medical Terminology: Pass a medical terminology test with a minimum score of 75%.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to different establishments in the St-Jean-sur-Richelieu and/or Champlain Charles Le Moyne areas.
  • Experience: Experience in the healthcare field is an asset.
