Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Assistant to join our team at Chartwell Légende résidence pour retraités. As a Medical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, ensuring residents receive proper nutrition
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Respond to call signals, providing timely assistance to residents
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, prioritizing resident safety
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on resident-centered care
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, with a focus on resident safety and well-being
