As a recent graduate, you will join our operations teams in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and be part of our Global Trainee (GT) Program. This program includes opportunities for training, international travel, and networking.

The Global Trainee position contributes to a specific function while learning, training, and improving skills in that particular area to gain a profound understanding of processes, products, and services. For this role, we are looking for candidates with Mechanical Engineering degrees and related professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe core processes through on-the-job training, project assignments, and training activities.
  • Collaborate on critical projects execution.
  • Learn about Tenaris strategy, systems, and processes.
  • Analyze information and prepare different deliverables as reports and processes. Gain deep knowledge of the processes exposed to.
  • Maintain regular contact with other areas of the company and interact with different hierarchical levels to achieve the expected performance and results.
  • Develop and manage a set of Key Performance Indicators to monitor and measure the area's results.
  • Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, and ensure adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.

Requirements:

  • No more than 4 years of related professional experience.
  • Graduated with an engineering degree in the last 4 years; Mechanical concentration is required. Electrical and Mechatronics may be considered.
  • Excellent Office Suite skills.
  • Self-driven and self-starter.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Enjoys fast-paced environment.
  • Loves to learn and able to execute high-level results.
