We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Specialist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of marketing campaigns and programs for our Super Market Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Social CoE in executing the divisional social media strategy and content calendar.
  • Develop and lead social content briefs, review and provide feedback on creative, and lead promotional activations.
  • Support the brand team in developing the marketing brief, including compiling consumer/business insights and pulling in relevant past campaign data.
  • Coordinate with internal/external agency counterparts and other partners for the review and approval of creative.
  • Monitor in-flight campaigns for optimization opportunities and implement decisions.
  • Contribute to the post-mortem process, including working with partners to compile campaign performance reports.
  • Support budget planning, development, and monitoring/updating, including status reports.
Requirements
  • High degree of accountability and strong organization skills.
  • Ability to balance delivery for multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of general marketing strategy and business principles, including key performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of leading and emerging social media platforms, content trends, and tactics to grow organic reach, engagement, and following.
  • Strong oral presentation skills and marketing brief writing.
  • 1-3 years of experience in CPG or Retail Marketing environment, supporting marketing campaigns.
