Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support the development and execution of marketing campaigns and programs for the Super Market Division at Loblaw Companies Limited.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Campaign Planning: Assist in developing marketing briefs, compiling consumer and business insights, and pulling in relevant past campaign data to advise standard processes.
  • Creative Development: Support the brand team in coordinating with internal and external agency counterparts for the review and approval of creative materials, ensuring alignment with established brand guidelines.
  • Campaign Execution: Coordinate campaign deployment, ensuring launch and execution align with campaign objectives, and proactively monitor in-flight campaigns for optimization opportunities.
  • Metrics and Tracking: Support budget planning, development, and monitoring, updating brand/project/important metric dashboards, and contributing to research, analysis, and reporting to inform campaign activity.
  • Project Management: Oversee management of budget control reports, ensuring campaigns are delivered in full against the planned budget, and responsible for ensuring vendor invoices are paid in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Marketing Experience: 1-3 years of experience in CPG or Retail Marketing environment, supporting marketing campaigns, including writing marketing briefs.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Experience working in teams, with a preference for cross-functional team experience, and strong oral presentation skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
