Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Taco Time. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that food and service meet our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, highlighting areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality food and service.
  • Establish work schedules for kitchen staff, ensuring that we have the right people in the right place at the right time.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.

Working Conditions:

  • 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime required.
  • Work in a restaurant environment, with exposure to food preparation and service.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
