At VIET BITES KITCHEN, we are seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a restaurant setting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Standing for extended periods
