About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Service Associate - Cashier to join our team at Dana Hospitality. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide a positive customer experience by greeting customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Assist in the preparation of food items, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and ensure that all food is presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in receiving and stocking inventory, and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve goals and objectives, and provide support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of high school education an asset.
  • Experience: 1-year experience in the food service industry preferred.
  • Certifications: ServeSafe and/or FoodSafe certified an asset.
  • Language: Ability to communicate effectively in English and/or French as appropriate.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks with speed and accuracy, and effectively use a computer and related software.
