Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Service Associate to join our team at Dexterra Group. As a Food Service Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu and products, making recommendations to customers as needed.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer payments and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.

Requirements

  • Positive attitude with a passion for providing great customer service.
  • Ability to lift (10kgs.), pull & push heavy loads & be exposed to extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
  • Able to follow directions.
  • Able to work successfully in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Reach and lift between 0-10 pounds from floor to shoulder height.
  • Frequent standing and walking required.
  • Able to work in hot or cold temperatures.
