About the Role:

Toute Sweet Cakes and Pastries is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Factory Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors and stairs.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Make minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Perform safety and security checks.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Perform other routine maintenance tasks, such as painting and drywall repair.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, and reliability.

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced factory setting, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Language: English

Hours: 35 hours per week
