About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Access Control Specialist to join our team. As an Access Control Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the badging program for all staff, physicians, volunteers, and approved contractors. This includes ensuring staff parking access by liaising with several parking vendors and HR/Administrative departments.

The role requires alignment through 4 separate access control systems and 3 separate parking systems. You will also be responsible for completing audits and running reports to ensure the integrity of the program. Additionally, you will conduct confidential Public Safety investigations as required.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent education
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in security systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate verbally and through email
  • Administration proficiency with CCure9000 and Avigilon Access control (preferred)
  • Applicable understanding of Genetec and Avigilon video management (preferred)
  • Attention to detail with data entry and report preparation
  • Ensuring completion of tasks through coordination of several vendors
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $53,196.00 - $66,495.00 per year, based on location and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • A fully onsite role
  • Hours: Days, 8 hours, including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
