Job Description

A Business Security Operations Manager is required to lead our Emergency Response team and oversee all aspects of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada site security operations, fire prevention, and emergency response.

This role reports directly to the Site Manager and is responsible for ensuring all security operations and administrative directives conform to policies and procedures set out by TMMC, Securitas Canada Ltd., and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative/Operational: Ensure all security operations and administrative directives conform to policies and procedures set out by TMMC, Securitas Canada Ltd., and the CBA.
  • Lead and support the ERT during emergency situations, including but not limited to: fire, medical, spill, and threat.
  • Conduct comprehensive handover briefs to oncoming managers during shift changes to ensure all pertinent information is passed on.
  • Review manager emails and calendars to become acquainted with relevant information, procedural updates, and upcoming events.

Required Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 education.
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • Law & Security, Police Foundations or equivalent Diploma from a recognized College, or progressive leadership and management experience and site training in the positions of S/TM, C/TM, and FPI.
