Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a tenure-stream faculty member in the Department of Geography at the University of Toronto. The successful candidate will be appointed as an Associate Professor or Professor and will have the opportunity to contribute to our dynamic and interdisciplinary research environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop courses in the Planning Program, including core and elective courses
  • Supervise graduate students and maintain an active research program
  • Provide academic leadership and contribute to departmental and university service
  • Collaborate with colleagues to advance the mission of the Planning Program
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Planning or a closely related field and a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching. They will have a strong commitment to academic leadership and a proven track record of success in leading teams and managing projects.

Applicants must provide evidence of their research and teaching expertise, including a research statement, a teaching dossier, and a list of publications and presentations. They must also provide three letters of reference.
