Job Title:

Associate Professor/Professor Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor/Professor to join our team as the Director of the Planning Program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in planning and a proven track record of academic leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic leadership in planning and oversee the Planning Program
  • Teach core and elective courses in the accredited graduate Planning Program
  • Supervise graduate students and maintain an active research program
  • Provide service within the University and to broader academic and professional communities
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. degree in Planning or a closely related field
  • Established international reputation and a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching
  • Experience in academic leadership and a strong understanding of planning principles and practices
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Membership in the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI) with the requisite Registered Professional Planner designation
  • Professional or practice-oriented experience in the applicant's area of expertise
