Job Title: Legal Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team at Heather Neufeld Law. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our lawyers and staff in providing exceptional legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of information and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents with attention to detail and grammatical accuracy
  • Review and proofread documents to ensure compliance with legal procedures
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Provide exceptional client service and support to our lawyers and staff
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader
