About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at First National, Canada's largest non-bank lender. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating sales and volumes while servicing broker clients.

Sales and Service:

  1. Develop in-depth knowledge of First National products, services, and technologies, as well as competitor offerings.
  2. Build long-term relationships with brokers, increase portfolio volumes, and identify new business opportunities.
  3. Educate and market broker clients on company products and services through various mediums.
  4. Communicate the benefits of First National's innovative technology to broker clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare weekly sales logs and appointment schedules.
  2. Compile detailed expense and mileage reports.
  3. Prepare quarterly and annual business plans.

Requirements:

  1. Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
  2. Competency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technologies.
  3. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  4. Proven ability to handle difficult customer situations.
