Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Swiss Chalet. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning and inventory management
  • Train staff on new procedures and policies
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
