Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will provide evidence-informed, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, person-centered, and recovery-oriented nursing care to patients and their care providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive health history and mental status assessments
  • Administer and assess the effects of medications
  • Respond to observed behavioral changes and implement strategies to promote optimal mental health and physical well-being
  • Provide education on mental health and addiction topics to various audiences
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse
  • Experience working in a mental health or addiction treatment setting
  • Strong assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
