About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at 0790726 B.C Ltd. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including complete meals and individual items, using a range of cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Kitchen Inspection: Regularly inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they are working effectively and efficiently.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, including equipment and utensils, to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
