We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Fatburger. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine the size of food portions and costs
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
