Job Title: Transportation Logistics Supervisor

iHaul Logistics Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring smooth operations, and providing technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize logistics operations.
  • Organize and coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to help them improve their performance.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in transportation logistics or a related field.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
