About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at iHaul Logistics Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics operations of our organization, ensuring the smooth movement of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Logistics Plans: Create and execute specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize logistics operations.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Task Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, arranging for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and train staff, conducting performance reviews and coordinating work assignments.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, establishing work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in logistics operations, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
