At Hi Signs THE FATH GROUP, we're seeking a skilled Shop Hand to join our team for the summer with possible long-term employment.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to assist our team in the warehouse and shop environment. As a Shop Hand, you'll be responsible for handling materials, sign layup, operating basic hand tools and powered hand tools, and performing housekeeping duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle materials within the shop and outdoors as required
  • Sign layup and assembly
  • Operate basic hand tools and powered hand tools, such as drills and disc grinders
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Work safely and follow established work procedures
  • Report equipment issues and perform general tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Class 5 License
  • Good communication skills
  • Well-organized and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a sign shop or warehouse environment
