We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A & W. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and food service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
This role is based in a restaurant setting, with a fast-paced environment and a focus on delivering high-quality food and service to customers.
