Food Service Manager

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Manager to join our team at Prescott Smokeshop & Grocery Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the food service operations, ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Job SummaryThe Food Service Manager will lead a team of staff members in preparing and serving food, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness standards. This is a permanent position with an estimated 30-40 hours per week commitment.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish efficient work schedules and procedures to meet business needs
- SUPERVISE AND COORDINATE the activities of food service counter attendants, food preparers, kitchen helpers, and other staff members
- TRAIN STAFF IN JOB DUTIES, SANITATION, AND SAFETY PROCEDURES to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback to staff members
- Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and employee performance
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., hospitality, culinary arts)
- 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the food service industry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competitive salary: $**65,000 - $85,000 per year**, depending on experience
